Get baptized in water. By doing so, you are symbolically identifying with Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. Baptism means 'immersion'. By being baptized you are declaring outwardly, what has happened to you inwardly. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost… (Matthew 28:19)
It is recommended that those desiring to be baptized walk towards the altar during the invitation period, which usually occurs after the sermon, ad a public sign of his/her faith in Jesus Christ. Once this step is taken, you will receive a call from the pastoral support ministry with an additional information you will need. Baptisms are held on the 1st Sunday of each month during our 10:30am worship service. Please contact the church office at (337) 229-4337 to schedule a baptismal date or complete the form below.
Those desiring to be baptized are asked to arrive to the church at 10:00am to prepare for the Baptismal Service.
